F.A.Q.s:

Q: Am I expected to oil myself up on camera??!!!

A: NO. Everyone will turn their cameras OFF during the oiling part of the day.

Q: I’m shy, am I expected to dance on camera?

A: NO. You are also welcome to turn your video off and dance like nobody’s watching.

Q: What is cacao exactly?

A: Called “The Food of the Gods” by ancient South American peoples, this particular cacao grows wild in the rainforests of Columbia. The raw cacao beans are harvested and prepared intentionally by the Indigenous peoples there, and come to us without high heat roasting, leaving the abundant antioxidants and flavonoids intact. It is high in calcium, iron, potassium, protein, fiber and magnesium, and studies have shown cacao reduces stress levels, improves blood pressure and circulation, reduces the risk of cardiac events/diseases, combats depression and anxiety, improves memory, reduces inflammation, supports skin elasticity, improves digestion, prevents tooth decay, and even aids in weight loss! Aside from the many physical health benefits, cacao contains theobromine, serotonin, tryptophan, phenylethylamine (increases dopamine secretion), and anandamide, which together induce a relaxing, yet energizing, and heart-opening state of being. Combined with intentional ceremony we have the opportunity to connect with Mama Cacao as the magical being she is and create more peace, clarity, and loving awareness within.

Q: I’ve never prepared cacao…what do I do?

A: You will be guided step by step in real-time through an intentional preparation and ceremony. You will also receive instructions ahead of time for what ingredients and cookware to have on hand.

Q: What is Yoga Nidra?

A: Nidra, also called “psychic sleep yoga” is an ancient Samkhya philosophy practice first written about in 700 BCE but dating back to 1000 BCE through verbal teaching. Nidra is a practice of pratyahara and a state which is induced by a guided meditation journey throughout the body and encourages visualizations. In this lucid dreaming state (asleep while conscious) one can access a deep state of consciousness called turiya, which leads to samadhi, in order to reprogram the subconscious and provide the body with deep rest. It is known that 30 minutes of nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep

Sleep.

Q: I don’t have the funds but I would still love to participate.

A: Payment plans and other options are available. Please contact AnneTyler for assistance.
